Dimitri Masselos is the founder of Masselos Family Office.

The family has been in shipping business since 1946. 

Dimitri has also gained  experience in investment management, corporate finance, commercial banking, underwriting, digital merchant banking, trade finance, natural resources, oil and gas.

Dimitri started his financial services professional career in 1997 and has worked in USA and UK at major firms such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Wachovia Bank, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse (Clariden Leu) and gained experience in various areas including private, commercial, and corporate banking and underwriting, and as member of senior management at the executive level.

Dimitri is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered FCSI in the UK. He obtained BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from University of Newcastle upon Tyne and conducted 3 years DPhil research in Physical Sciences at University of Oxford (Wolfson College). While at University of Oxford, Dimitri concurrently obtained his business education at City University Business School (Evening/Executive MBA) in London. Dimitri has also completed the 2 years program for Certificate in Financial Planning at Oglethorpe University in US.

Dimitri is involved in various philanthropic activities. He is co-founder of the Father of the Year event in Atlanta, Georgia since 2004, a charity that each year raises over $250,000 for the American Diabetes Association. Dimitri is an endowed member of a major global charity and a former president of the Atlanta Hellenic Lions Club a contributor to the Atlanta Lighthouse Foundation for the blind. Dimitri is currently active in various philanthropic and charity projects.

Masselos family members have bachelor's degrees in Medical Sciences, Computer Science, Biochemistry and master's degrees in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Cybersecurity, Clinical Biochemistry and M.B.A. all from first class United Kingdom institutions.
